Ruth Carney-Nash

Director and Founder of Carney Academy

I started Carney Academy in order to ensure that people get the best possible training and understanding about theatre in today’s modern world.  My experience in the West End, regionally and at drama schools throughout the country has enlightened me to the needs of the profession.  Through Carney Academy this knowledge and experience will be fed to ensure that students get the best possible training.  I am also aware of the importance of drama as a tool to develop personal attributes that feed into every aspect of a person’s life – all of which is at the heart of Carney Academy’s ethos.
